I’m somewhere in 2007 began to actively explore the Internet. At that time, websites and blogs are quite complicated and to develop this needed you pretty much HTML knowledge. Well I found out pretty quickly that I could get more things done over the internet, email and Google using the “old” ways. In 2008 it became very quickly a lot easier to set up their own website. I launched my first blog by the end of 2008.

In 2009, I heard that Twitter became more popular, but I did not have very much interest in yet. Then I saw a broadcast of Pauw & Witteman on March 31, 2009, in which Maxime Verhagen it very briefly talked about Twitter, I was sure. I was on Twitter. On April 1, 2009 at 06.15AM I placed my first tweet (Twitter message that was called). To me this felt like the beginning of a new era. This feeling proved correct, as I soon found out that Twitter is one of the most powerful means of communication ever since I could personally reach second MPs behind my computer.

By increasingly discovering, I found out in 2011 that I can much more sides through social media than with any degree whatsoever. So I decided to go immediately from school in that year. I decided right away that I never wanted to work for a boss because I wanted to have the freedom to explore the things that I like.

On April 1, 2012 I started Dondermedia.nl (now Dondermedia Networks) my own business in the fields of photography, video and journalism.

Today, I give advice, lectures and training courses on social media and its impact on society as we know it. I also talk a lot about the opportunities that exist in the field of working smarter and do more in less time. I do this under the name F // S – Social Media Communication.
